I could blame it on any number of things–because you KNOW 2020 has been pretty crazy–but I’ve gotta be honest.

Life got hectic.


I admit it.

See? Marketing overwhelm hits those of us who do it professionally, too.

So, if you haven’t had a chance to reach out to your sphere of influence and past clients lately, that’s okay.

Forgive yourself and move on.

I am super excited to share the foundation of a strategy that is very, very close to my heart.

If you know me, you’ve probably heard my ramblings and musings about content marketing for real estate. It’s no secret that I think this is the way of the future for real estate marketing.

It’s also crucial in cutting through the noise these days, and that goes hand-in-hand with attracting, incubating, and generating leads for your business.

BUT, you can’t just jump into a content marketing strategy. You have to ease into it intentionally. You need to connect the dots, and you need to build a roadmap.

Roadmap Step 1: Select Your Target or Niche Audience

You will be tempted to skip this step.


Quite literally, this step will determine if you succeed or fail.

Yes, it’s that important!

Even great real estate professionals just like you have said that they would work with “anyone looking to buy, sell, or invest in the area” at least once in their career.

That was okay then, but now that you know better

You do NOT need to work with anyone who has a pulse!

Instead, be intentional about who you want to work with and who you attract.
